The struggle of those affected by Brazil's largest environmental disaster to obtain reparations. After the rupture of the mining tailings dam operated by Samarco in 2015, the residents of Bento Rodrigues were left without homes and sources of income. Disillusionment, misinformation, disunity, and delays would characterize the path of resistance for the affected individuals over the years.
